This year we will visit TOSCANA.

The story about the visit of Italy (Italian Dream 2004).



We started our expedition Italian Dream in the begin of Saturday 5 june 2004 and will tell you the story of our experiences. The travel starts at the Bridge (parking the Val) from Schouwen-Duiveland to Goes (5 km long). Next City Antwerpen, Hasselt, Heerlen/Aken to Koln, by Kerpen to Bonn Koblenz A61 direction Ludwigshafen-Speyer A5 direction Karlsruhe and at then our first Camping after Freiburg. Direction 65 Müllheim-Neuenburg. Camping 293 Neuenburg am Rhein first cross left Neuenburg-west. Again left follow signs ADAC/ANWB Oberer Wald.
Our first Camping: Campingplatz GUGEL , Dreilander-Camping- und Freizeitpark in Neuenburg am Rhein. Price Eur 20,70 2 persons,Caravan no Electricity.
Next day Sunday 6 june 2004. A beautifull blue sky. Good sleeping and early shower. It was really quiet on the Camping. Much birds. Direction St. Gotthard , through the mountain for 19 km's. In the middle of the tunnel 34 degrees celcius. Direction Lugano, St.Moritz up to Menaggio. This was a small road (yellow) but we fixed it. Beautifull view over the COMO lake. Direction TREMEZZO - camping Hotel Villa Edy. Price camping 5.50 p/p and 11.00 the place incl. electricity. Nice simming pool was included the campingprice. Here we stay for a couple of day's to visit all the places round the COMO-lake.

Monday 7 June 2004 On the bike to Menaggio. Nice town with harbour. Thuesday 8 June 2004. To Lenno by bike. There was a wonderfull market that day. Wednesday 9 June 2004. What a beatifull sunny day. On the bike to take the boat. Daytrip Eur 7,50. Tremezzo, Lenno to Bellagio-Varenna (nice town to visit). Then to Menaggio en Bellagio(shops) it was very hot weather, after these visits back to Tremezzo and by bike to the Camping. Thursday 10 June 2004 On the bike to Lenno, we visit the camping in Lenno, nice but little and no swimming pool.
